Is there a long-term contract?
No. BookMi is month-to-month. Cancel or change your plan any time from your account settings -- no exit fees.
How does the price cap work exactly?
You pay a base monthly fee plus a small amount per confirmed booking. Once you hit the cap, you stop being charged -- so even fully-booked months have a predictable ceiling. Cancelled bookings do not count toward your bill.
What is included in the 14-day free trial?
Full access to the plan you sign up for, including WhatsApp reminders if you are on Pro. No credit card required to start.
Do I need a website to use BookMi?
No. We give you a shareable booking link that works on its own. You can put it in your Instagram bio, WhatsApp status, or Google Business profile. The WordPress plugin is optional.
Will my clients actually use online booking?
Most clients adapt quickly once the link is easy to find. SA clients are comfortable with WhatsApp -- so even if they message you first, you can send them the booking link and they finish the process themselves.
Can I require a deposit for certain services?
Yes. You can set deposit requirements per service type. The deposit is collected during the booking flow. It is commonly used for new clients, long appointments, or high-value services.
Is my client data POPIA compliant?
Yes. BookMi is designed to be POPIA compliant and stores your data on servers in South Africa. Client data stays yours -- we do not use it for our own marketing or share it with third parties.
How many staff can I add?
Solo plan supports one staff profile. Studio plan supports up to 4. Clinic plan supports 5 or more. Each staff member gets their own calendar and availability settings.
