1. Who we are

BookMi (Pty) Ltd, registration number TBC, operates the BookMi booking software platform at bookmi.co.za. We are a responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. What data we collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business name) and the booking data your clients submit (name, email, phone number, appointment details). We also collect standard server logs and analytics data.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the booking service, send booking notifications, process payments via PayFast, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data or your clients data to third parties.

4. Data storage and security

All data is stored on servers located in South Africa. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.

5. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email privacy@bookmi.co.za.
